The wines

Château La Croix Bonneau – Cuvée Prestige

Château Haut Bonneau

Chateau Haut Bonneau is a blend of two grape varieties: merlot and cabernet franc. After fermentation, those wines from older “parcels”, are brought together for a traditional breeding of Bordeaux. The progress of our wines is tasted each month by the family, our consultant oenologist (wine expert) (Miss Cecile MESURE) so as to respect the fruit of our labour – the wine. On average, the process takes 12 months.

L’Eloïna David

L’ELOÏNA-DAVID, a cru borned in 2000, produced from the oldest cabernet franc parcels of the property, this wine is aged 15 months in new barrels. This wine seduces with its rich and complex bouquet, with notes of black fruits, spices and menthol. Silky tannins and racy ensure a good balance to the final very harmonious.

L’Eloina DAVID is developed only the best years of Cabernet Franc and since 2000. Since 2005, none of the vintages have appeared worthy of this selection until the 2009 vintage.
