As traditional as the previous vintages, made as usual of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the 2002 vintage will require some patience because the weather conditions gave it a real Bordeaux style, steady and frank, with strong tannins. A deep red colour with glints of garnet, a nose with hints of jam and spices, recent tasting reveals plenty of body and a classical style which will develop in the years to come.

Coming from the beautiful vineyards just north of Saint Emilion, this wine expresses a typical Montagne –Saint Emilion by its delicate bouquet of red fruit and blackcurrant. This wine is elegant with delicate wood flavours. The taste lingers on the palate with a long finish, implying a wine to be kept for ageing.
GUIDE HACHETTE DES VINS 2004:
